Lean Cuisine Chef's Pick: Glazed Chicken

As much as I try to cook dinner and take leftovers to work for lunch, that doesn't always happen. On those days, I often find myself running out at lunch to grab something quick - and usually very unhealthy. When I was selected to try and review a product from the Lean Cuisine Culinary Collection Chef's Pick line, I was excited to try another alternative to fast food lunches.

I looked through the case at the grocery store, trying to decided which variety I would choose to do my review on. With so many options, I decided to go with the Glazed Chicken, because the lemon tarragon, green beans, and cashews sounded like they would add good flavor and texture to the chicken and rice.

I'm not usually a fan of any kind of nut in my food, but I really enjoyed the cashews in this dish. Overall, the flavor of the sauce was great, the chicken was tender, and the rice, green beans, and lemon tarragon were the perfect accompaniments. Lean Cuisine has definitely stepped it up with these Chef's Pick entrees and I am glad to be adding these to my freezer for those days when I don't have leftovers.

I have partnered with Lean Cuisine through DailyBuzz Food to help promote their new line of Chef's Pick products. I have been compensated for my time commitment to work with this product. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments. Thank you Lean Cuisine!
